CPR for Babysitters

This course is designed for babysitter's who want to give families peace of mind when they leave their children with you.  After taking this course you'll know what you need to do in emergency situations and how to save lives.

Age Group for CPR

    Adult CPR - about 8 years and above (child about 55 pounds).

    Child CPR - about 1 year to about 8 years.

    Infant CPR - Birth to about 1 year.


Class duration: approx. 4 hrs.

Course Includes:

1. Instruction on how to give CPR to an child and infant and basic first aid.
2. Review the signs of choking and how to help the victim.
3. When to call 911.
4. Mouth-to-Mouth Breaths
5. Review CPR Barrier differences, use and why they are necessary.

Demonstrate the following skills on a manikin:

    One-rescuer CPR

    Recovery position

    Foreign body airway obstruction management for infants.

    First Aid procedures.

5. All students receive hands-on instruction and practice.
