HeartSaver CPR Course           Training Fees

 

The Heartsaver CPR course trains lay rescuers (non healthcare providers) to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies with adult, child, and infant victims.  This course provides instruction and practical exercise of Adult, Child and/or Infant CPR and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction.

 

Age Group - Can be taught together or separately

    Adult CPR - about 8 years and above (child about 55 pounds).

    Child CPR - about 1 year to about 8 years.

    Infant CPR - Birth to about 1 year.


Class duration: approx.
2 hrs. 

Course Includes:

1. Instruction on how to give CPR to an adult, child and/or infant.
2. Review the signs of choking and how to help the victim.
3. When to call 911.
5. Review CPR Barrier differences, use and why they are necessary.
4.

Demonstrate the following skills on a manikin:

    One-rescuer CPR

    Recovery position

    Foreign body airway obstruction management

5. All students receive hands-on, instruction and practice.
6. All students receive practical on adult, child and infant CPR.
